Parade, Festival and Chili Cook-Off
The Crestline Chamber of Commerce has announced it's 103rd birthday celebration including Parade and Festival on Saturday, July 4th 2009 and the ICS Sanctioned Chili Competition, "Beat the Heat" on July 5th 2009.

Featured among the many participants will be Darth Vader with Stormtroopers and the 501st Legion from Star Wars. Bernie mascot from the Inland Empires 66ers Baseball Club, The parade is scheduled to start at 10 A.M. on Lake Drive.
The Jamboree Festival runs from 10 A.M. - 7 P.M. and includes the FunCo Kids Zone as seen on KTLA Ch. 5 and Fox Ch. 11, Jamboree Bandstage sponsored by Burrtec & Victorville Motors featuring the Classic Rock & Blues performances by “DeCastro & Bannister”, “Nothing Matters”, and “Born Blue” and the return of the Coors Beer Garden. Awards presentations to Honorary Mayor Russ Keller, and the Crest Forest Fire Prevention District at the Jamboree Bandstage around Noon.
The Beat the Heat ICS Chili Cook-Off at the Lake Gregory Ballfields Starts at 10AM and features the Peoples Choice Competition (Red Chili w/ Beans, Salsa, and ICS Chili Verde (Green), Live Music throughout the day from Blue Grass Band “This Just In” and local favorites Reggie Banister and Friends. Kids Zone, Shoot and Holler Contest, Lady & Mr. Chili Pepper Contest, and of course the Coors Beer Garden. Event Ends at 6:30PM
