The Crestline Chamber of Commerce has announced it's 102nd birthday celebration including Parade and Festival on Saturday, July 5th 2008 and the ICS Sanctioned Chili Competition, "Beat the Heat" on July 6th 2008.

This years parade Grand Marshall will be a surprise. Featured among the many participants will be Darth Vader with Stormtroopers and the 501st Legion from Star Wars as well as the Mountain Fifes and Drum Corps. The parade is scheduled to start at 10 A.M. on Lake Drive.

The festival operating from 9 A.M. - 5 P.M. will include a Live Music Stage, a children's amusement area, with Downtown Crestline being filled with vendors of various types.
